Beauty is unbearable, drives us to despair, offering us for a minute the glimpse of an eternity that we should like to stretch out over the whole of time.  Albert Camus

I find myself perpetually obsessed with the following: photography, motherhood, creativity, and writing.  Here you have a glimpse of those obsessions, as well as the frequently random others—like sushi, espresso, knitting, ink drawing, cloth diapers.

My blog is a compulsion, not a marketing tool.  So please do excuse me, dear potential (or current) photography client, as I drop the f-bomb, gush over my genius/gorgeous/benevolent children, or blather on about my latest philosophical musings.  I pinky-swear, no f-bombs during our session.  Philosophical musings are negotiable.

Speaking of gifted, beautiful, funny, wonderful, intelligent, fabulous, talented children, I’ve got four of them.  I’ve given them super top secret blog names to appease my beloved, but paranoid, husband Hercules.  KiKi is 9, Dimples is 6, Mowgli is 4, and Shortcake is 1.  They totally rock.

Except I could probably do without the whining.
