Please do not mistake my blogging shortage as a shortage of activity here in Extraordinary world. On the contrary, we have an abundance of chaotic, joyful, bustling life happening. Just no blogging.

And, because it is mildly difficult to both nurse and blog at the same time (although possible; I’m doing it right now), I’m a little behind.

And, because it is even more difficult to both photograph and cuddle a baby, and then look at and edit those photographs, I don’t have as many pictures to share as I’d like (hundreds aren’t as many as I’d like to have).

But here are a few.

Just a snapshot, flash ‘n all. A sort of self portrait; “Shortcake” in the sling, which is where she spends much of her time. A bit of a difficult angle to snap photos at. I have a majorly pathetic problem with putting her down. Also you can see her much-loved hemangioma here, or Strawberry mark (a much prettier way of putting it). Hence, her new bloggie name, “Shortcake.”

Big brother, Dimples. *sigh* We are all so enchanted with this girl.

I’d forgotten how soft the bottom of newborn feet are.

*sigh* again. It really is ridiculous.
