Sedonaaahhhhh…

There is so much to write about our trip to Sedona. Our incredible B & B, and our more-than-fabulous ritual Native American blessing ceremony. But since I am on my way to JuJu’s ultrasound appointment, it will have to wait. I must, however, share a few pics:

And, just because I can’t stop thinking about them, quite possibly the most enjoyable meals I’ve ever had were at Picazzo’s and Cucina Rustica. Go to these restaurants next time you’re in Sedona. OK?

Are We Having Fun Yet?

Um, yeah.

From pool time, boat time, family time, sightseeing time, hummingbird-/road runner-/bunny rabbit-watching time, to nap time, we are having a blast. Sure, it’s hot. When they say “dry heat,” they mean like an oven. But we are getting used to it (even Hercules!), and we are in water or A/C at all times.

This is the backyard. Not too shabby, eh?
Baby had just lost his turn driving the boat. Pitiful.
There will be more… One of these days.

Da Shack

This is The Shack.

We stayed here last weekend. I was worried that BDE was getting too prissy for it (ew, there are bugs in the bathroom!), but she couldn’t stop saying things like, “I love it here!” and “I’m so glad we stayed at the shack!” *sigh* We all felt the same way.

Late Saturday night, I taught her how to play chess. She beat me. Seriously.
For some reason, I decided to take pictures with the camera hanging at my waist, without looking in the viewfinder. Very fun. Pathetically fun. I don’t know that there is anyone else in the world that would’ve had as much fun as I did doing this very simple, very stupid thing. But that’s why you love me, right?

And, because Dimples was elsewhere while I took these, here’s one of D (de-mohawked) & B:
I am aware that I should be packing, as we are flying out very early tomorrow morning. BUT I was just emptying my memory card, and I somehow ended up here. Whoops! Next blog should be straight from AZ! Yippee!!!
